As the author argues: “This direction is partly about what is happening in geopolitics today, including within the UK itself. It’s partly about what is happening in the worlds of design, culture and art in contrast to the ubiquity of artificial intelligence. People matter, gestures matter – that ‘human touch’.” And time? Today it’s speeding up; we don’t know where it’s heading; it’s beginning to blur slightly against the rigid grid of the world we’ve known until now.”

The third edition of the British Film Festival will take place between 10 and 15 November 2026, meaning that this year’s festival will run for one day longer.

Kino Muza remains the festival’s main venue.

Whilst we await the BFF, we invite you to some warm-up events as part of the Cool Britannia series – the next ones are on the last Thursday in August.
