In the year he would have turned 80, and ten years after his death, we dedicate this acting retrospective to the uncompromising Alan Rickman.
He made his big-screen debut at the age of 42 and went on to become one of cinema’s most iconic villains.Look more closely at his filmography, however. A different Alan emerges: a man who demanded a great deal of himself, and of those around him, but who was also marked by sensitivity, intelligence and a wonderfully dry sense of humour.
Here is the talented Mr Rickman, often in roles you’ve never had the chance to see on the big screen. It’s an honour to be here at BFF in his company!
